WASHINGTON - Among the Republican presidential candidates who have received electoral donations from top executives of hedge funds, Senator Marco Rubio (Florida) is the only candidate that has publicly rejected the proposal to allow the government of Puerto Rico to restructure, at least in part, its public debt under Chapter 9 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.
