Havana Cuba - The generational shift that has begun in Cuba with the arrival of Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez to the presidency to replace Raúl Castro Ruz, is a fact that represents a historic transition in the Cuban leadership, but that does not imply that they will move away from the ideological and functional foundations of the socialist government that have prevailed on the Island for more than half a century.
