The Government had introduced the possibility of achieving $2.5 billion in savings in the healthcare sector within ten years. But in the Fiscal Plan that was finally approved this week, the Oversight Board was more comprehensive, and established that the savings in this category should reach $6.123 billion—more than twice what was originally estimated.
