Puerto Rico’s Treasury currently finds itself in a serious and complex situation. Moreover, there is an increasing possibility that Puerto Rico and the Oversight Board (OB) might become embroiled in multiple lawsuits with creditors. Both situations have made it very difficult for Ricardo Rosselló Nevares’s administration to hire an accounting firm to audit the Government’s books.
