The cutback proposed by the OB would shutter campuses or increase tuition
By orders of the Oversight Board (OB) to reduce the budget of the University of Puerto Rico (UPR) by 28%, this institution of higher learning would be forced to eliminate campuses, increase tuition, and make thorough adjustments to its academic offerings, if it wants to be a part of the Island’s socioeconomic development.
