The White House sent a $ 44 billion request mainly to Texas and Florida

Washington - When proposing another $44 billion in emergency funds to distribute between Texas, Florida, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, yesterday, the White House requested Congress to amend the law in order to allow FEMA to finance the reconstruction of infrastructure on the island and not only repairing it.
