Zika Vaccine Arrives in Puerto Rico

Researchers from the Medical Sciences Campus will be in charge of conducting clinical trials of the vaccine

The development of a vaccine that could halt the high number of Zika infections reported in over 50 countries around the world will make a stop in Puerto Rico, where trials will be conducted—starting this month—on volunteers to determine the effectiveness of the vaccine.
