Before leaving his position as Insurance Commissioner, Alexander Adams Vega, now nominated for Superior Court judge, published the annual report on the insurance sector, a document that highlights that in terms of premiums written, Puerto Rico’s insurance sector grew more than the economy as measured by Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
