Magdalys Torres Calderón was 24 years old when she felt some nodules on her neck that caused her some pain. Her immediate reaction was to go to the emergency room, which triggered a series of referrals, tests and a biopsy that ended in an unimaginable diagnosis: stage III non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma cancer.
