In the wake of the femicide of a key witness to prosecute a double murder perpetrated in May in Corozal, Justice Secretary Lourdes Gómez Torres stressed Tuesday the importance of accepting all state services to protect the lives of the victims and their families, including entering the shelter, whose second phase of remodeling, she said, is expected to be completed in October.
