Eight students - seven still studying and one who recently graduated from the Carolina campus – met yesterday with federal Education Secretary Miguel Cardona. (carlos.rivera@gfrmedia.com)

With the federal funds the University of Puerto Rico (UPR) Carolina campus received for the COVID-19 pandemic, the university now provides wireless internet access in parking areas and installed equipment in classrooms to offer online classes. Students received financial aid to cover their tuition fees and computers were distributed to those who might need them.
