Two years ago, a law was passed that mandated the creation of a portal to unify the credentialing processes for healthcare providers in Puerto Rico. The passage of Law 73 of 2023 was seen as a step toward getting health plans to streamline the process of admitting doctors and other professionals to their service networks, thereby preventing the loss of personnel critical to the well-being of the population.
