prima:Company questions the feasibility of adding 800 megawatts of temporary generation to Puerto Rico’s power grid

An appeal against the outcome of the request for proposals raises doubts about Power Expectations, the bidder selected to carry out the project

While regulatory authorities evaluate Power Expectations’ contract to temporarily inject 800 megawatts (MW) of energy, the company’s ability to meet the obligations incurred after the award of the request for proposals (RFP), as well as the purity of the process that the Authority for Public-Private Partnerships (AAPP) delegated to an independent firm (3PPO), remain under question.
