When an immigrant is deported by federal authorities to his country of origin, among his greatest concerns is not knowing whether he will be able to recover the property, vehicles or savings he leaves behind, an issue that, for the Consul General of the Dominican Republic in Puerto Rico, Rosendo Arsenio Borges Rodríguez, explains, in part, why so many people seek to re-enter the territory, and which he promised to address as a priority from his office, where he took up his post in September.
