Civil rights advocates warned that the recent decision by the US Supreme Court—which overturned an order that halted immigration raids in Los Angeles—reinforces that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents will continue to detain immigrants based on racial profiling, the language they speak, or where they work, which could also increase interventions against Puerto Ricans who meet those criteria.
