prima:Experts question the Puerto Rico Health Department’s handling of irregularities detected in cannabis laboratory

Although an audit found that Cannalytics manipulated its test results, the government rescinded the suspension of its license

The audit by Department of Health inspectors of Cannalytics and Novacann Labs Corp., the only two medical cannabis laboratories on the island, was part of the evaluations conducted in response to a legislative inquiry into the oversight of the Office of Medical Cannabis. (Ramon "Tonito" Zayas)

The Cannalytics laboratory will resume operations in the coming days, after the Medical Cannabis Regulatory Board rescinded the suspension of its license, despite the fact that inspectors found that it had intentionally manipulated the results of medical cannabis tests, an act that not only put health at risk, but also, according to several people consulted, should have been referred to the authorities for investigation for possible fraud.
