Following the restructuring of the Sales Tax Financing Corporation (Cofina), the Aqueducts and Sewers Authority (PRASA), and the General Obligations (GOs), Puerto Rico enjoys the backing of investors, including some institutional funds, but the island’s definitive return to the U.S. municipal market remains to be seen, according to six investment managers and bankers during the Puerto Rico Now economic summit.
