The opportunity to be part of the faculty at the leading cancer hospital in the United States does not come along every day. But after a year of training at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, it was more important for Dr. José Concepción Holguín to return to Puerto Rico, thus breaking the pattern that has disrupted the country for more than a decade: the exodus of doctors.
