While about 40 percent of the population remains in the dark and the federal government invests millions of dollars to raise posts, cables and transformers to power the Island, Governor Ricardo Rosselló Nevares announced yesterday that he will sell and privatize the Electric Power Authority (PREPA), a decision that opens the door for a possible legal dispute with the true owners of that public corporation: the bondholders.
