Washington D.C. - The Senate Republican leadership proposed to end the preferences that Puerto Rico has had in accessing the “Opportunity Zones” program, which, despite generating hundreds of millions of dollars in investments on Puerto Rican soil and being strongly promoted by island authorities, has had a very limited impact in the past seven and a half years.
