A decade ago, the chance discovery of a fossil oyster by a 10-year-old girl in her schoolyard in this municipality led her parents to dream of founding a place where Puerto Ricans could learn about their origins. Now, that dream is closer to becoming a reality with the opening of the Puerto Rico Natural History and Conservation Museum.
