The Department of Economic Development and Commerce (DDEC) will not revoke the tax decree granted to Salvadoran businessman José Ofilio Gurdián Lacayo, who is alleged to be linked to one of El Salvador’s biggest environmental disasters and obtained a decree under Law 60-2019 while he was imprisoned in Colombia.
