The amendments to the Vehicle and Transit Law (Law 22-2000) to adjust it to the “reality” of the increase in the use of all-terrain vehicles on the island will be made under a “limited legal framework,” which will define roads and schedules in which they can be used, age limit and even safety equipment required for drivers, Traffic Safety Commission (CST) Director José “Memo” González Mercado said Wednesday.
