Following referrals to the Department of Justice and the Office of Government Ethics (OEG) regarding the granting of bonuses to exempt employees outside the legal and regulatory framework, the president of the State Elections Commission (CEE), Jorge Rivera Rueda, warned that the possibility of beneficiaries having to return the money received is on the table.
