Washington D.C. - After meeting with Governor Pedro Pierluisi, Senate Democratic Majority Leader Charles Schumer (New York) announced Tuesday that he will co-sponsor Senate Bill 3231, which proposes a binding plebiscite for the federal government between statehood, independence and sovereignty in free association.
