Five months after the federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued a warning to residents of four municipalities where facilities that emit a pollutant known as ethylene oxide (EtO) operate, the agency’s Region 2 administrator, Lisa García, met with residents of three of the potentially affected communities as part of a visit to Puerto Rico last week.
