Manatí - Amid the stench of brown, stagnant water mixed with sediment, tadpoles, and mosquitoes, residents of the El Tanque sector in this municipality lamented on Tuesday the losses in their homes—including cars covered in mud—after three days of massive flooding, a recurring problem during heavy rains like the recent ones, for which they have been demanding a solution for decades.
