Genera PR responded to the allegations made by the Puerto Rico Energy Bureau (PREB) regarding alleged delays in the steps toward conversion to natural gas at the Mayagüez power plant, arguing that, unlike the Cambalache station in Arecibo, the absence of a final fuel supply contract prevents them from addressing the technical details necessary to submit a project proposal to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
