Washington - President Joe Biden sent his FY2022 budget proposal to Congress yesterday, which included language in favor of eliminating Medicaid funding caps for Puerto Rico and other territories “while aligning their matching rate with States and moving toward parity for other critical programs” such as Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance program.
