It was not only arrests of immigrants without defined status in Puerto Rico that multiplied during the federal fiscal year that ended in September. In the same period, interest in joining Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) increased, with more than 700 requests on the island since Donald Trump returned to the White House, revealed the director of the Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) office in San Juan, Rebecca González Ramos.
