New Fortress Energy (NFE) reaffirmed that it will not resume deliveries of liquefied natural gas (LNG) until the Puerto Rico Energy Bureau (PREB) reverses its directive that the Electric Power Authority (AEE) file a $17.6 million claim for alleged breaches of contract, or that the public corporation issue an “unequivocal” payment guarantee, just as officials from the conglomerate in Puerto Rico were assuring that they were taking steps to ensure the entry of the tanker that remains off the coast of San Juan Bay.
