Despite the fact that at least two people have been arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in the vicinity of judicial centers so far this year, the presiding judge of the Supreme Court, Maite Oronoz Rodríguez, assured that they seek to make “the courts safe places,” and highlighted that a new electronic platform will help people without defined immigration status to continue requesting remedies in a safe way.
