Washington – Yesterday, Senator Bernie Sanders and Representative Nydia Velázquez  teamed up to introduce a bill that would restore Puerto Rico´s access to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), which, according to experts, would represent a $ 700 million annual increase in nutrition assistance.
