The restructuring official got a third extension of her contract, for a grand total of $27.8 million in 14 months

Meanwhile, two out of the three members of the PREPA's governing board, chosen by subscribers, pointed out that "we have no other choice" but to make way for the extensions so that Donahue and her team can finish the efforts that began 14 months ago.

In times when uncertain economic conditions keep the government in check, the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (PREPA) extended for the third time its contract with the company AlixPartners and with its restructuring officer, Lisa J. Donahue, for a total of $7,284,000 in additional fees.
