San Juan, Puerto Rico - “Dream things so hard, that life has no choice but to fulfill it”.
This was the message posted by Spanish citizen Jesús Rivas on his social networks after meeting Puerto Rican urban singer Bad Bunny.
A month ago, the young Andalusian was invited by music producer Tainy to travel to Puerto Rico to enjoy one of the shows of the residency “No me quiero ir de aquí” at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot.
“They say that stories of three don’t work out well, that three is a crowd and that it never works out, but without a doubt this story that we have lived so closely is not only mine and my mom’s, it is also of the Puerto Rican people who have made this possible, always with their good faith and giving everything they have,” wrote the Spaniard, who accompanied the message with several photographs showing the moment he met Benito Antonio Martínez, the artist’s real name.
“I can’t describe with words what I felt at that moment and neither with what I’m feeling now, those who have always known me know that I have been able to fulfill the biggest dream of my life and I promise you that I have been dreaming for years that this would happen," said Rivas, who let Bad Bunny autograph a mahon jacket he was wearing, as shown in one of the shared images. “Thanks again to each and every one of the people who have made this possible, especially Tainy, his team, I really will not have life to thank you for all that has happened, I love you.
The invitation from the music producer of artists such asBad Bunny, Rosalía, Jennifer López and Wisin & Yandel, among others, came as a result of a video posted by the Spaniard where he explained that, despite having tickets for one of the concerts of the residency, it was going to be impossible for him to get to Puerto Rico. This, because his mother had to undergo emergency surgery and he decided to stay in his native country to accompany her.
In the video, the mother of the young resident of Tenerife, in the Canary Islands, asked for help, so that her son would not lose the money invested in the flights and tickets for the show. Days later, the Spaniard received a message from Tainy, inviting him to the island, with all expenses paid and together with his mother, to see the show.
