The Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority (AAA) is turning to multiple private companies to address breakdowns, leaks and broken pipes across the island, as a measure to mitigate the recruitment challenges it faces, amid a strike threat from employees represented by the Authentic Independent Union (UIA).
