The secretary of the Family Department, Suzanne Roig, is not only facing investigations into the potential commission of criminal offenses in her current position, but is also under investigation by the Government Ethics Office (OEG) over the possibility that she violated the law establishing the oversight agency. Investigators are seeking to determine whether she benefited or favored others through the awarding of a contract while she worked at the Department of Health in 2021.
