With opposing positions anticipating a difficult negotiation, today, the Federal Bankruptcy Court in Old San Juan will hold a mediation hearing between the HIMA San Pablo Hospital Group and those who opposed the emergency funding intended to sustain the facilities’ operation. The Municipal Tax Collection Center (CRIM), the Puerto Rico Fiscal Agency & Financial Advisory Authority (FAFAA), and the U.S. Trustee in Puerto Rico are among the objectors.
