The Department of Natural and Environmental Resources (DRNA) failed, between 2021 and 2025, to comply with several of the programs and initiatives under its jurisdiction designed to address the crisis of coastal erosion, including assistance to municipalities under executive orders and the preparation of an inventory of abandoned structures along the coastline, concluded an audit by the Office of the Comptroller.
