Groups from the diaspora on Wednesday urged the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources of the U.S. Senate to promote a “fair solution” to end Puerto Rico’s territorial status and recover the hundreds of millions of dollars allocated for solar energy, but which were later diverted by the administration of Donald Trump.
