The Fiscal Oversight Board (FOB) is seeking to halt the distribution of nearly $2.5 million in aid to eight municipalities identified by the government as having the most economically vulnerable populations, on the grounds that the procedure followed does not comply with the PROMESA Act or other fiscal requirements.
