Puerto Rico governor Pedro Pierluisi asked the Fiscal Agency & Financial Advisory Authority (AFAAF, Spanish acronym) to explore whether the Fiscal Oversight Board would endorse the creation of a tax credit to benefit bondholders who suffered losses due to the island´s debt restructuring process.
