The heavy rains that, since April 19, have severely affected 10 municipalities brought to light the vulnerability of public infrastructure in the face of the hurricane season -which begins on June 1-, which, in turn, keeps mayors uncertain and worried about President Donald Trump’s austerity policies, which include the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) ceasing to exist as it has operated until now.
