Arecibo - Roberto Maldonado Rodríguez has prostate cancer, and Saradelia Mercado Ortega has pelvic cancer. Both are 87 years old, have been married for almost seven decades and lived in their home in Vega Baja. They had to move to the state of Iowa, where their daughter resided, in 2017, subsequent to hurricane Maria, after a fall that left him disabled.
