The Fiscal Oversight Board (FOB) formally opposed on Monday the bill proposed by Governor Jenniffer González Colón to raise the minimum pension for government retirees to $1,000, warning that the measure lacks the necessary funding in the budget and violates the adjustment plan’s prohibition on altering retirement benefits until 2032.
