Washington – Puerto Rico Resident Commissioner Jenniffer González urged the U.S. House Ways and Means Committee Thursday to include in an upcoming natural disasters relief funding, her bill seeking to make permanent the increase in the reimbursement for the federal excise tax on rum from Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, a tax that contributes $330 million to the Puerto Rican Treasury.
