One month after Hurricane Fiona, which - once again – exposed the vulnerability of critical infrastructure and government response in Puerto Rico, the repair of hundreds of damaged structures has just begun, while the federal government has already approved 588,411 applications for individual assistance for victims of the cyclone, which left a record of over 30 inches of rainfall in 60 hours.
