The window of time to take action on the threats facing coral reefs is closing, as an analysis by the Sociedad Ambiente Marino (SAM) found that Puerto Rico could begin to suffer recurrent coral bleaching and mortality events as soon as the next decade, with serious implications for the archipelago.
