The director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), Luis F. Cruz Batista, acknowledged that the current budget—which does not include a single cent towards the payment of the public debt—could be amended if the Oversight Board requests it. He also reiterated that, for what’s left of this administration, any public funds available will be used to ensure that public services continue.
