In an unprecedented effort to strengthen scientific collaboration ties between Puerto Rico and Hawaii, the University of Puerto Rico (UPR) in Ponce initiated an interdisciplinary research project to support responsible management strategies for populations of the common coquí (Eleutherodactylus coquí) on the island of Oahu.
